The No Limits Coaching Process
Your Journey to Pleasure and Mastery in the Game

Transform your sport or physical practise to a new level of awareness beyond the sport itself

No Limits Coaching

As a teacher of tennis I know that any approach other than mind over matter, the wilful Western model, has been a long time coming. Although exceptions occur, ‘mental toughness’ is still the word of the day. Coaches promote strategies of the mind to block negative emotions and negative feelings.
The vast majority of players, whatever their sport, are not playing for money or trophies but play for the joy of participation, for fun, for fitness, for relaxation. Good reasons all, but are they achieving those intrinsic rewards on a consistent basis? Does your physical practice support greater growth in your life?

No limits Coaching is dedicated to ‘clearing mental and emotional blocks to physical performance’. Our physical endeavours should provide the stage for achieving balance and harmony in our lives. The No Limits Coaching Process provides a new backdrop to the performance that is all too often stuck in reruns.

Do you want to feel intense positive energy when you play?

Phase I - Awareness
Without awareness we essentially play the same game over and over.

Physical Awareness:
You want to become increasingly more mindful of all aspects of your game, your strengths and your weaknesses. Your technical and tactical competence, your fitness level and your nutritional status are all carefully examined.

Mental Awareness:
Understanding mental and emotional patterns is the key to mental awareness. You begin by investigating how emotions affect your game. Most emotional responses are learned early in life from parents and authority figures, and are often negative. When the game isn't going our way, we tend to judge ourselves harshly. A negative impact on the physical body begins. Vitality is strangled. With little or no training in this area, players turn their focus to physical and technical errors. The door to emotional aware ness closes, opportunities for improvement are lost.

Spiritual Awareness
Once you gain the knowledge of your physical and mental tendencies and how they have an impact on your success, a path to new aware ness opens for you, beyond the game itself.
The connecting of body and mind leads to a more balanced and harmonious response to adversity. Your choice to grow as an athlete and a person leads you to the path of mastery.

Do you want to feel pleasantly challenged by your sport?

Phase 2 - Intention
If you don 't know where you1re going, how will you know when you arrive?

You begin by setting physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual goals for your game. With your new found knowledge of how the mind/body/spirit system influences your performance, you set out to "train” old patterns out of your body and replace them with new ones. You accept a greater challenge, the challenge within, developing your objectives accordingly. Having set goals for your physical and mental game, it is critical during this developmental phase, that you counteract resistance and "allow" change to occur.

Do you want to feel deeply empowered whern the pressure mounts?

Phase 3 - Integration
When we practise wholeheartedly we experience wholeness

At this stage in your journey you've looked at your game anew. You've made changes physically and mentally. As you develop a deeper connection within yourself, you begin to focus more on the process rather than the outcome.

Awareness is now active on all three levels. The program shifts to a free flowing exchange between mind, body, and spirit. You begin to understand that the body is the "bridge" between mind and spirit. The rhythm of your physical practise constantly reinforces this connection.

Do you want to expand your energy capacity?

Phase 4 - Expression
If life is a dance floor, begin the dance of "who you are"

Through physical and mental practise you have entered a fully integrated state. Positive technical and tactical decisions flow freely and spontaneously.
Emotional adversity no longer drains your energy. Pressure only heightens your awareness of the moment. Beyond the game, you operate in balance and harmony within yourself and with those around you. You celebrate health and fullness of spirit honouring the connection you have made to life through your integrated experience.

Life: The Master Game

The No Limits Coaching Process when applied to the 'Master Game' promotes the integration of soul, body and mind by increasing the opportunity for awareness to develop. Awareness is the vehicle for change. Drawing deeply on the Hawaiian view of man that human beings exist in three dimensions, the soul or higher self, the body self, and the mind self or ego. Information passes from dimension to dimension, as awareness, through the body, which provides the bridge between soul and mind.
In recognizing the varied needs of all of us, and the unique varieties of the Master Game the Process features a Soul division, Body Mentoring and a Body/Mind division, and No Limits Coaching.

Body Mentoring

The Soul work or touch healing branch, Body Mentoring is made up of Hawaiian bodywork and lomilomi the Hawaiian version of massage. These recognize that the body, the conduit for life expression, is engaged in a mentoring relationship with the soul and the mind. Hands on healing techniques open and align our three bodies and assist the individual in gaining a more wholesome understanding of their life experiences.
